December 2023 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Membership is held to present the business of the association and elect officers for the upcoming year. Please do not invite guests for this meeting as it is only open to members of SMPA. This meeting will be held in person at The Blount Mansion and catered by The Brown Bag.
As you arrive, you will be checked-in and logged as to whether you are a voting member. RSVP president@smparalegal.org BEFORE Dec. 12.
This is required by SMPA Standing Rules and only Active Members are allowed to vote for officers for 2024. Please assure you are properly checked-in prior to entering the meeting room or participating in the buffet.
The first portion of the meeting will allow time for socializing prior to the business portion. Once the business portion of the meeting begins, no one will be allowed to enter the room and you will not be allowed to leave and return to the room.
The lunch buffet is provided by the association and there will be no cost to the members. However, we will need a count for attendance in order to have the proper amount of food available.
