Smoky Mountain Paralegal Association (SMPA)
The Smoky Mountain Paralegal Association (SMPA),
a NALA affiliated association, welcomes members from any where
in the state of Tennessee. While our emphasis is on promoting paralegals in Tennessee, SMPA does not restrict membership by state of residence or employment and has welcomed paralegals from other states that wanted to take advantage of our membership benefits.
Membership in the Smoky Mountain Paralegal Association
is open to paralegals, students in paralegal programs, attorneys,
law firms, corporations and businesses promoting the paralegal
profession, and educational institutions providing paralegal
programs based on the requirements approved by the Executive

The Smoky Mountain Paralegal Association offers its
151 members the opportunity to earn 1.0 CLE credits each month by
viewing our CLE presentations online via rebroadcast in the
SMPA Members Area.
CLE rebroadcasts are typically available within 48 hours of
the meeting date and time. This benefit is available only to

SMPA recognizes the importance of achieving a nationally recognized certification to a paralegal. SMPA is hosting a CP exam preparation class. The CP Exam review class is a member benefit and available to SMPA members only at no cost.
